Community News


Phil Minnick, the director of the Oasis Care Center, leads the prayer and groundbreaking ceremony for the Women's Residential Center on Sunday Feb 21, along with Pastor David Bullock of Eagle Heights Church,  Mayor Eddie Girdler, Judge-executive Barty Bullock and other church members and supporters.  The Women's Center will house 12 to 14 women at a time.  Completion of the center is anticipated to be August 15.  Eventually, men, women and children will be able to come to the Oasis Care Center as a place of refuge.  Durning their stay, they will be able to restore their lives in a Christian environment and become productive Christian men and women in the community.
