Festival of Trees is an event where trees are donated to be displayed, bid on and purchased. All proceeds from the purchases are donated to LOCAL charities. It's a wonderful atomosphere and a great time was had by all who atteneded. Click here to see pictures from the 2007 Festival

 

The annual Christmas Parade will be here again soon. Watch for more informatin there are plans to have many new features to the parade this year to make it the best Christmas Parade ever.

KCTCS Students Learn about
Transferring to EKU at a Reception
Monday Sept 29, 2008

RICHMOND, Ky. – A reception will be held for students who plan to transfer from Somerset Community College to Eastern Kentucky University. Advisors from all five EKU academic colleges and representatives from the University’s Offices of Admissions, Financial Aid, Housing and ROTC will be present to meet with interested students at the reception, from 1 to 6 p.m. in the Harold Rogers Student Commons Community Room on Somerset Community College North Campus, 808 Monticello St., Somerset.
No appointment is necessary.

The Cumberland Cycling Club will be hosting a fun ride.
All riders and skill levels and bikes are welcome. (MTB/Road/Hybrid)
Lunch will be provided at Sinking Valley Winery.

There are 3 different distances routes.
